TELEMEDICINE ACCEPTANCE AND USAGE IN JAKARTA METROPOLITAN AREA

Introduction: Implementing infection prevention protocols during the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia hinders public from accessing health care services. This condition causes virtual services to become more accessible than conventional services, thus encouraging healthcare providers adopt telemedicine as a method of service delivery. However, relatively new technology Indonesia, acceptance is crucial predict level willingness telemedicine. Yet, little study has tried assess it. Purposes: The purpose this research measure acceptability Jakarta metropolitan area, factors that determine it, and whether correlates with usage frequency Methods: Data used acquired an online survey February March 2022, targeting residents Greater area. Instruments are demographic data form SUTAQ questionnaire translated into Indonesian. Of total 454 respondents, 200 have last six months. Respondents were then divided several groups based on age, gender, monthly income, education level, chronic conditions, insurance membership, use. Bivariate analysis was conducted using chi-square test for categorical t-test numerical data. Results: assessment scores indicates good all groups. Increased accessibility satisfactory user experience contributed its acceptance. we also found use not correlated acceptance, but positively presence conditions.
